The incident occurred in Rockland County on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Laurel Road and Glenside Drive in New City.
According to the Clarkstown Police, the SUV struck a Clarkstown Central School District bus while turning left onto Laurel Road.
A preliminary report indicated the SUV was traveling above the speed limit, causing it to veer off the roadway and strike a nearby house, police said.
Police said everyone on the school bus, including students, was unharmed.
The driver of the SUV sustained injuries that were treated on-site by medical personnel.
